About the role

The Integrated Master Scheduler supports the Advanced Fires Project Office (AFPO) at PAE Fires in Huntsville, AL. This role involves creating, maintaining, and optimizing schedules for the Program Office, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging scheduling software to provide real-time insights.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed schedules for projects, programs, or production processes using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
  • Define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Update schedules and maintain schedules within excess of 77k lines, regularly to reflect changes in scope, resources, or priorities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to allocate resources effectively across multiple projects or operations.
  • Analyze schedules to identify potential risks, delays, or conflicts.
  • Generate and distribute schedule reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Communicate schedule status and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings to review schedules, address issues, and coordinate activities.
  • Evaluate scheduling processes and tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and standards to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure schedules comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of schedules, changes, and related activities.
  • Receive and analyze all Industry Partner IMS deliveries, bi-weekly.
  • Analyze IMS metrics provided by Industry Partners.
  • Respond to schedule-related concerns with analysis.
  • Report results to all Stakeholders, including Army and Navy leadership, and Industry Partners.
  • Aid Army/Navy leadership and Industry Partners with mitigation strategies.
  • Update Government (Army/Navy) Master Giver/Receiver list, bi-weekly.
  • Develop and maintain LRHW in-office specific functional schedules in Microsoft Project to capture details of tasks and logic to track necessary movements in reaching desired milestones.
  • Schedules include; test, logistics, contracts, funding/budget, safety, cyber and materiel release.
  • Support LRHW Engineering with IMS data and analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10-15+ years of experience in scheduling, project management, or production planning.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience briefing or communicating with senior government stakeholders.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
  • Travel: 5%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in scheduling software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Experience briefing or communicating with senior government stakeholders. Must have a current driver's license. Travel: 5% Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active DoD Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment. TS/SCI preferred.
