Integrated Master Scheduler

Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is recruiting for an Integrated Master Scheduler. This role supports PM Soldier Survivability (SSV), located at Fort Belvoir, VA and Huntsville, AL. Key responsibilities include engineering, quality assurance, acquisition support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. Specific task areas involve program management, analysis, planning, studies, liaison, and operations support, strategic communications, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, software development, system safety, studies and analysis, and quick response support.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs work, coordinates efforts related to design, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Applies principles of project management developing large, complex schedules
• Performs program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances
• Buils and maintains a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Government sources
• Maintains OEM schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances
• Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
• Acts as scheduling subject expert and mentors the program staff with regards to scheduling
• Understands and has facility with enterprise-level scheduling software
• Proposes processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
• Clearance: Secret
• Education: BA or BS
• Years of Experience: At least 12 years of experience
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of MS Project, Acquisition experience in the DoD environment
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service skills, Ability to manage multiple tasks, Strong communication skills, written and oral
