Integrated Logistics Support, Sr - PR 1429

PE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Integrated Logistics Support professional to join the Combat Readiness Directorate at Warner Robins AFB, GA. The Combat Readiness Division provides unified, common solution product support and strategic acquisitions to enhance combat effectiveness.

About the Role

The contractor supports Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) by planning, analyzing, and implementing sustainment strategies to maintain system readiness throughout their lifecycle. This includes coordinating maintenance, personnel, supply, and infrastructure elements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning (MP): Assist logisticians in organizing maintenance activities across organizational, intermediate, and depot levels. Perform analytical studies such as reliability-centered maintenance, level-of-repair analysis, and battle damage repair assessments. Recommend maintenance capabilities, including calibration processes, equipment, and sustainment plans. Track weapon system modifications and support source of repair assignments. Identify needs for contractor logistics support, interim contractor support, and post-production sustainment. Ensure maintenance planning accounts for environmental and safety factors like corrosion control, hazardous materials, structural integrity, and nondestructive inspection.
• Manpower and Personnel (M&P): Identify required military and civilian workforce skills, grades, and quantities for system operation and sustainment during peacetime and wartime. Conduct analyses such as workload, human factors, occupational structure, and mission requirements to optimize personnel allocation.
• Supply Support: Determine requirements for acquiring, storing, distributing, and disposing of spare parts and secondary items. Develop provisioning strategies, calculate initial and replenishment spare requirements, and monitor repair and production of spare parts. Evaluate alternative sourcing strategies, manage diminishing manufacturing sources, and support provisioning documentation and conferences.
• Support Equipment (SE): Ensure all required tools, test equipment, and resources are identified, acquired, and delivered on time with lifecycle cost considerations.
• Technical Data Management (TDM): Create and maintain engineering data systems for accurate documentation, configuration control, and traceability of system requirements and changes. Prepare data management and technical order plans, track data delivery and verification, and manage updates, deficiencies, and engineering change proposals.
• Training and Training Support (TTS): Develop training plans and requirements to ensure personnel are properly trained to operate and maintain systems. Provide specialized training, including parachute rigger instruction, covering packing, inspection, and safety procedures for specific parachute systems.
• Computer Resources Support (CRS): Plan and manage IT infrastructure, software, and personnel to support mission-critical systems efficiently and affordably.
• Facilities Support: Conduct site surveys, develop facility requirement plans, and support base and depot activation to ensure operational readiness.
• Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T): Ensure proper preservation and movement of equipment, including hazardous and classified materials, while coordinating logistics documentation and funding.
• Design Interface: Align system design with logistics requirements such as reliability, maintainability, safety, and interoperability to reduce lifecycle costs and improve readiness.
• ILS/Product Support Studies: Analyze and implement warranty strategies to ensure cost-effective coverage, proper tracking, and alignment with system acquisition and sustainment goals.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)) and twelve years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with five years in the DoD, OR a BA/BS degree and fifteen years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with five years in the DoD.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
• Ability to perform all functional duties independently.
• Ability to transport self to various facility sites; if using a personal vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
