About the role

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a core member of the primary care team who works collaboratively with medical providers and support staff to address patients' behavioral health needs within the primary care setting. This role is embedded in the primary care clinic and provides brief, evidence-based interventions, psychoeducation, care coordination, and consultation to support patients experiencing a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and physical health concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with primary care providers.
  • Comfortable with using telehealth technology for remote patient care.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and patient populations.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care.
  • Regularly attend work and on time, as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced medical environment, preferably within Primary Care.
  • Understanding of the principles of integrated care.
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills with a focus on brief, solution-focused therapy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with primary care providers.
  • Comfortable with using telehealth technology for remote patient care.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and patient populations.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care.
  • Regularly attend work and on time, as scheduled.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience working in an integrated care setting preferred but not required.

Pay

$110,000 - $115,000 per year DOE

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm or 4 days per week, ensuring patient contact hours are 36 per week.
