Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist - LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/PSYD/PHD
Licensed therapist (i.e., social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health clinician, licensed professional counselor) skilled in the delivery of evidence-based interventions. License to practice in Florida.
About the role
This position is virtually embedded in an obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) clinic, and you will serve as a core member of the Collaborative Care Team. As a member of this team, you will collaborate closely with OB/GYN clinicians, medical staff, our psychiatric consultant, and other behavioral health professionals at LifeStance Health to deliver comprehensive care that integrates mental and physical health. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions, offering brief therapy and support that aligns with patients' overall healthcare goals.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicate findings efficiently to other members of the care team.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address behavioral, physical health, and social needs in collaboration with the patient and care team.
- Provide culturally responsive care, respecting and valuing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of patients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the OB/GYN setting, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Communicate behavioral health principles to non-behavioral health professionals to facilitate collaborative treatment planning and care coordination.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary care team environment, including OB/GYNs, midwives, nurses, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document care in a clear, concise, and timely manner within electronic health record systems.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PSYD, or PHD.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary care setting; integrated care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative goal-setting.
- Desire to treat women across the reproductive lifespan; experience in women’s mental health preferred.
- Passion for expanding access to quality care through innovative, cutting-edge treatment approaches.
- Comfort with technology, including navigating electronic health records and registry platforms to track symptom improvement.
While not a requirement, therapists bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred.
