Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator with at least one year of medical administrative experience to join our growing team. This role is essential to daily operations and serves as a central communication hub between therapists, patients, families, and physician offices. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and document verbal orders from physician offices
- Manage, process, and upload incoming referrals
- Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to physician offices
- Prepare, receive, and distribute faxes
- Create and format letters, memos, and other correspondence
- Upload signed documents and maintain accurate patient records
- Monitor and respond to emails, routing messages appropriately
- Maintain and update spreadsheets using Google Suite tools
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience required.
- Skills: Strong organizational, clerical, and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication: Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) required.
- Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Location: Dublin, OH (On-Site) | Schedule: Full-Time | Compensation: Hourly, competitive, negotiable, and based on experience.
