Intake Specialist

Beltway Companies is the largest heavy-duty truck dealership in the Mid-Atlantic. As the first step in our Service Departments, our Intake Specialists play a pivotal role, ensuring timely vehicle check-ins and communication between our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle and customer information for repairs and invoicing
• Generate health reports upon vehicle arrivals for immediate insight into reported vehicle issues
• Accurately document vehicle issues, concerns, and maintenance needs
• Maintain customer relationships through a continuous positive attitude and attentiveness daily
• Assist with answering telephone calls when necessary
• Work closely with Accounting personnel regarding customer account changes, customer credits, and clearing the sublet accounts when necessary
• Maintain and file all necessary documentation required by the Service Department
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this position
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
• Sensitive to customer needs and a good listener
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner

Pay

$40,000 – $60,000 salary based on experience
