Intake Representative

Position Summary

Answers calls for all new appointments to the HBH practice. Verifies insurance. Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Phone triages current problem as presented by client.
• Schedules initial appointment with appropriate treatment provider.
• Verifies insurance information.
• Verifies demographic information.
• Facilitates follow up appointments to appropriate treatment provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
• Required: Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): None
• Preferred: 1 year customer service and insurance verification
• License, Registry Or Certification: Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Basic Computer skills, Customer Service skills
