Intake Registration Specialist
Position Summary
This full-time position provides clients with access to services, enrolls in intake program, collects financial information to apply payor source for billed services and assists clients in applying for Medicaid or County Mental Health Board funding.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights
- Assists clients in accessing services in person, online, or by phone.
- Verifies insurance eligibility in accordance with Agency/Program policies and procedures.
- Complete registration in accordance with Agency/Program policies and procedures in person, online, or by phone.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Requires a high school degree or GED.
- Previous healthcare/medical office experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient with computer operations and various software packages such as clinical databases, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Required CPI 90 days following hire.
