Intake Registered Nurse (RN) - Monthly Bonus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assessments of incoming patients with A&R Counselors.
• Coordinate providers' admission orders and initiate the admission process with the Admissions Clerk and Admissions Clinicians.
• Screen referrals.
• Actively engage in the health‑care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Continuously assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients throughout their care journey.
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital.
• Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in core values.
• Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing and possess a valid Washington State RN license (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
• Exceptional crisis management and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility, creativity, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Calm, organized, and professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Pay

This full‑time role offers a base hourly rate ranging from $48.00 to $55.00 for day shifts, $51.00 to $58.00 for night shifts (including shift differential), $53.00 to $60.00 for weekend days, and $57.00 to $64.00 for weekend nights. In addition, there is a monthly bonus opportunity of up to $9,000 per year and generous shift differentials. Employees may opt out of medical insurance coverage for additional compensation.

Schedule

Full‑time position with rotating day, night, weekend day, and weekend night shifts. Shift differentials apply for weekday overnights, weekend days, and weekend overnights.
