Job Summary
HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization, provides comprehensive healthcare services including primary medical care, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. This position is union eligible.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcomes clients and provides high-quality customer service.
- Conducts face-to-face interviews to screen for appropriate treatment needs.
- Communicates and coordinates with outside referral agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensures all required admission paperwork is completed accurately and entered in multiple electronic data systems.
- Makes program placements based on client needs and bed availability.
- Identifies and evaluates an individual's strengths, weaknesses, problems, and needs for the development of a treatment plan.
- Conducts level of care assessments to help determine eligibility for withdrawal management and residential substance use disorder treatment services.
- Utilizes the agency’s assessment tools to gather client information for admissions directly from the client.
- Provides mental health/level of care assessments and diagnoses for adults seeking residential services.
- Consults regularly with the Director to ensure clients meet the criteria for safe admission to the appropriate level of residential care.
- Provides crisis intervention and referrals to high-level of care as necessary.
- Provides thorough written documentation of all services provided in compliance with regulations, contracts, and behavioral health standards.
- Persists in efforts to solve issues even when faced with internal barriers; takes personal responsibility for customer service outcomes.
Qualifications
- Board Registered or Licensed as an LMFT/MFTI, LCSW/ASW or Psychologist/Registered Psychologist.
- Minimum of two years of experience in dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment in an inpatient or outpatient community mental health setting.
- Experience conducting mental health assessments and providing appropriate diagnoses.
- Experience with mental health Medi-Cal procedures.
- Demonstrated clinical paperwork, timely record-keeping abilities, and dual entry in EHR systems.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to pass an agency driving test to use an agency vehicle for off-site visits.
