Intake Coordinator

FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic providing medical infusions and injections in a relaxed setting. For more information about our services and company, visit our website here. We are expanding rapidly in both Florida and New Jersey, currently operating 11 clinics in Florida and 4 in New Jersey. This position is available in our West Palm Beach location.

Responsibilities

• Performs registration, receptionist, and secretarial duties in the Medical Office
• Validates completeness and accuracy of patients' eligibility and medical documentation
• Functions as the primary point of contact for patients and medical staff
• Enters administrative data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Coordinates medical services and assists patients with their questions and concerns
• Reviews and updates patient demographics, ensuring photo IDs and insurance cards are scanned
• Contacts patients to discuss benefits, appointments, and other details
• Communicates with dedication to serving all internal and external customers, including medical staff, office personnel, patients, and hospital personnel
• Maintains high professional and ethical standards as demonstrated through successful completion of core competencies, clinical competencies, and behavior standards
• Adapts to changes in healthcare delivery and departmental needs as directed by management

Requirements

• Medical Office Experience Required
• 10+ Years of Experience Preferred
• Familiarity with Medical Office Terminology and Systems
• Bilingual Spanish a Plus
