In this role, you’ll be a key part of the patient journey—ensuring a smooth, informed, and positive start to care.If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working collaboratively with both patients and providers, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Do Guide new patients through the intake process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently Verify insurance benefits across multiple payers, including coverage for medications and therapies Request and track prior authorizations, proactively managing renewals before expiration Enter and maintain patient information in electronic systems with a high level of accuracy Communicate clearly with patients regarding coverage details and expected out-of-pocket costs Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless transition into care Navigate multiple insurance portals and websites daily Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the overall patient experience What We’re Looking For Experience in a customer service role; background as a medical receptionist or intake coordinator is highly preferred Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology Solid understanding of insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and coverage terminology Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Clear, compassionate communication skills—both verbal and written A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Experience Requirements Prior authorization experience: 1 year (required) Insurance benefits verification: 2 years (required) IV infusion experience: 1 year (preferred) Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Life and disability insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Pay Rate: Minimum $23.50 per hour; compensation will vary based on experience and qualificationsIf you’re passionate about supporting patients and want to be part of a collaborative, caring healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.
