About the role

The Intake Assistant assists the Intake Coordinators in managing pieces of the intake process. This position works closely with intake and the clinical team to help support insurance authorization verification and tracking, hospitalization tracking, census tracking, data entry, and other duties as assigned. This position will act as a resource to our field staff in answering questions related to patient evaluations and visits.

Responsibilities

• Collection, data entry, and distribution of intake information of potential patients
• Supports insurance eligibility confirmations of patients
• Helps to obtain pre-authorization with various payor sources

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and a team player
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical office highly preferred
