About the role
As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying insurance claims and ensuring that all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and on time. You will work closely with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and ensure patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Review and process insurance claims
- Resolve discrepancies and communicate with insurance companies and providers
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims
- Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and claim status
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare insurance verification or related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
