Insurance Systems Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of policy administration systems.
• Execute file-based testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Verify policy, premium, and financial calculations for accuracy.
• Support testing related to Oracle GL, payroll, and financial processes.
• Develop test cases, document results, and track defects.
• Partner with business and technical teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4-10 years of QA experience (12 years maximum).
• Background in life insurance products and/or annuities.
• Experience testing policy administration systems or knowledge of Oracle GL, payroll, or financial systems.
• Strong experience with data testing, file validation, and calculation verification.
• Manual testing experience required; automation experience preferred.

Pay

$100,000 - $125,000 base salary

Schedule

Direct placement with the company, works on site Tuesday-Thursday in Durham, NC.
