Job Summary

This is a relationship-driven sales role with long-term income potential through commission. We offer ramp-up earnings support during your first months as you grow your pipeline and book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch.
  • Uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG's insurance portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries with professionalism and urgency, and support high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services to maximize overall member value.

Qualifications

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
  • Insurance experience is helpful—but not required.
  • We provide training to help you get licensed and confident in the role.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including disciplined lead tracking, follow-up, pipeline management, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge, strong listening skills, and the ability to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and deliver tailored value.
  • Prominent ability to generate new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, networking, and other business-development efforts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month. Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays.
