Insurance Sales Agent

About the Role

Pronto Insurance, a leading insurance agency with over 200 locations across California and Texas, is seeking motivated Sales Agents to join our team. We are a trusted provider of affordable, accessible, and customized insurance solutions for individuals and families, offering a wide range of products including auto, home, renters, and commercial insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in both English and Spanish, in person and over the phone
• Identify customer needs and offer insurance solutions that align with their goals
• Process policy changes, account updates, payments, and renewals
• Generate sales through customer interactions, follow-up calls, referrals, marketing activities, and company-provided leads
• Make outbound calls for payment reminders, promotions, lead follow-up, and prospecting
• Support local marketing efforts by distributing promotional materials and building community relationships
• Handle cash transactions, balance daily deposits, and complete required financial paperwork
• Open and close the office as needed and maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Follow company procedures and carrier underwriting guidelines
• Travel and work at other office locations within the assigned region when needed

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service experience required; sales or insurance experience preferred
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable making outbound calls and working in a goal-oriented environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and contribute to a team environment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to complete a background check
