Insurance Premium Auditor

About the role

Assists in the review and analysis of insurance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and assesses the accuracy of premium calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance policies for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Analyze premium calculations to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with underwriters and claims departments to resolve issues and provide recommendations for policy adjustments.
• Prepare reports and presentations to management regarding findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance auditing or related field.
• Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or similar software.

Pay
