Insurance Account Representative

About the role

This full-time, on-site Insurance Account Representative role is located in McGregor, TX and supports a State Farm Agent’s office.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance inquiries, provide quotes, explain coverage options, and process policy changes and renewals.
• Manage customer accounts, handle billing questions, follow up on leads, and engage in sales activities to meet individual and agency goals.
• Educate customers on available products, support claims-related communication, and maintain accurate records in agency systems.
• Collaborate with the agent and team members, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a positive, customer-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Account Management skills, including organizing customer information and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem-solving.
• Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain coverage options and build customer trust.
• Sales skills to generate quotes, follow up on leads, and support agency growth objectives.
• Training aptitude, including willingness to learn State Farm products, systems, and compliance requirements.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with CRM or agency management software.
• Ability to work on-site in McGregor, TX, in a collaborative, fast-paced office setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Insurance licensing (or ability to obtain required licenses within a specified timeframe) preferred.
• Strong integrity, reliability, and a commitment to providing inclusive, respectful service to all customers.
