Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about insurance law and defense litigation, and who is ready to step into a challenging role that directly impacts our clients and their interests.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including complex litigation.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on various aspects of insurance law and commercial litigation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Actively participate in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and negotiations.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in insurance law and related areas.
  • Provide legal consulting to clients, explaining complex legal concepts and scenarios in an understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure high-quality legal assistance to clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Current license to practice law in California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a strong focus on insurance law and commercial litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
  • Impressive track record in providing sound legal advice and achieving favorable dispute resolution outcomes.
  • Strong mediation skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally and effectively.
  • Exceptional legal consulting skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professional and ethical standards.
