Cozen O’Connor seeks an associate with 4-7 years of significant insurance defense litigation experience to join the firm's Los Angeles office. The firm represents major domestic and foreign insurers on a worldwide basis and is a recognized leader in insurance law, with nearly 200 top insurance attorneys and a sophisticated insurance law department. Attorneys handle complex litigation and bad faith disputes across personal and commercial insurance lines, often serving as lead trial or national coordinating counsel in major cases.
Responsibilities
- Handle pretrial filings in complex litigation, construction, mass torts, personal injury claims, and products liability.
- Work independently and collaboratively on insurance defense matters.
Requirements
- Admission to the State of California.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $195,000 - $220,000, representing the firm’s good‑faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
