Insurance Coordinator

Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to assist patients in accessing insurance and financial assistance options. This role requires regular visits to clinics within a specified geographic area to educate patients and coordinate insurance options.

Success Profile

• Regularly visit clinics to educate and coordinate insurance options for patients.
• Meet with patients to discuss and complete paperwork for insurance claims and waivers.
• Work closely with patients to determine eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs.
• Ensure accurate insurance information is entered into the billing system and monitor patients' Medicaid status.
• Prepare and analyze monthly reports to track work progress and identify discrepancies.
• Provide training and support to Quality Assurance (QA) team members.
• May present on insurance and financial assistance options to patients as needed.
