Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to assist patients in accessing insurance and financial assistance options for kidney dialysis treatments. The role requires regular patient interactions to educate and coordinate insurance options.

Success Profile

• Regularly meets with dialysis patients to educate and coordinate insurance options
• Determines Medicare eligibility and assists with the application process
• Monitors and verifies Medicaid status and tracks spend-down amounts
• Works with patients to evaluate financial information and determine eligibility for indigent programs
• Analyzes and reviews monthly reports to track work progress and ensure accurate insurance information in the billing system
• Completes monthly audit exams to stay current on internal policies
