Insurance Compliance Analyst (Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure compliance with insurance requirements for mortgage portfolios in accordance with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines.
• Analyze insurance policies for compliance, coverage adequacy, and risk mitigation.
• Validate insurance documentation, identify deficiencies, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Assess insurance-related risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external insurance providers to ensure regulatory and investor compliance.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports for audits and management.
• Stay up to date with changes to Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and insurance regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance, insurance risk, or commercial insurance.
• Hands-on experience working with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae insurance compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of insurance risk assessment and commercial insurance policies.
• Experience reviewing insurance documentation and identifying compliance gaps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage servicing or the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and investor guidelines.
• Professional certifications in insurance or risk management (preferred).
