About the role
Greater Regional has an opportunity for a full-time Insurance Billing Clerk. This candidate will bill all commercial insurance companies for all of Greater Regional Health and pursue collection of all claims until payment is made. You will work closely with insurance payers to resolve denied claims and claims with errors. The insurance clerk will also collaborate with other Greater Regional Health departments to ensure accurate billing and services, and perform other work associated with the insurance billing process.
Responsibilities
- Bill all commercial insurance companies for Greater Regional Health services
- Pursue collection of all claims until payment is received
- Work with insurance payers to resolve denied claims and claims with errors
- Collaborate with other Greater Regional Health departments to ensure accurate billing and services
- Perform other tasks related to the insurance billing process
Requirements
- Prior knowledge of accounting and insurance work is preferred
- Computer and phone experience
- Ability to work independently
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
