Join our team as an Insurance/Billing Specialist at Madison Regional Health. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can manage insurance claims and billing processes efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims accurately and timely
- Verify patient eligibility and coverage
- Resolve discrepancies and appeals
- Prepare and submit monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare billing and coding
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in medical coding and billing software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
