Insurance Agent in Training - Farmers Insurance

Are you outgoing, competitive, and motivated by results? The Nick Myers Agency at Farmers Insurance is looking for an Agent in Training to join our growing team in Portage, MI. No insurance experience is required. Paid training starts on day one, and we provide ongoing coaching and support. The agency also assists with pre-licensing costs.

Responsibilities

• Work warm and hot leads through inbound calls, Farmers leads, purchased leads, referrals, and our existing book of business
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty insurance
• Meet with customers, follow up with prospects, and build lasting relationships
• Cross-sell existing customers and generate referrals
• Network and develop new business in the community
• Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching
• Work toward individual sales goals

Requirements

• Outgoing, competitive, and highly motivated
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Goal-oriented and comfortable in a sales environment
• Coachable and willing to learn
• Sales experience strongly preferred, but not required

Pay

Compensation range: $45,000 – $75,000
