Responsibilities
- Meet and develop new contacts in your community
- Communicate effectively with clients in a sales atmosphere
- Develop prospects and sell Shelter products
- Bring on staff to assist with general administrative duties and sales
Requirements
- A motivated attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
- Skilled capacity for effective communication in a sales environment
- Some sales experience and a degree with general business courses are helpful, but not required
Qualifications
- No previous background in the insurance industry is necessary
- Our in-house and virtual new agent training schools, along with continuing industry education courses, provide the foundation needed to launch your agency
