Responsibilities
- Sell and service personal, commercial, and life insurance products
- Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Prospect and generate new business through referrals, networking, marketing campaigns, and outbound outreach
- Build strong client relationships through consultative sales and follow-up
- Learn agency operations, leadership, and business development directly from experienced Farmers agency owners
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and production goals
- Participate in ongoing mentorship, sales training, and coaching sessions
- Complete required licensing and University of Farmers training programs
- Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation within agency systems
- Present customized insurance solutions based on each client’s needs and goals
- Develop professional sales, marketing, and leadership skills with the long-term goal of agency ownership opportunities
Requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Competitive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licenses preferred (licensing assistance available for qualified candidates)
- Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and in person
- Coachable attitude with willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work full-time in-office in the Austin area
- Goal-oriented with strong work ethic and professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing score on the state insurance licensing exam (licensing assistance available for qualified candidates)
