About the role

American Family is seeking highly motivated individuals to become independent contractor Insurance Agents. As an agent you will represent American Family and its products exclusively, managing your own agency’s overall operations, sales, and growth while building and leading a team to achieve strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the agency’s overall management, sales performance, and growth initiatives.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a team of agents to meet strategic business objectives.
• Promote and sell American Family Insurance products as well as products and services from subsidiary partners.
• Leverage local marketing, prospecting, and business consultation support to expand the agency.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and background‑check requirements.

Requirements

• Obtain Property and Casualty and Life insurance licenses.
• Pass motor vehicle, financial/credit, and criminal background checks.
