The Atlantic District is looking for an Insurance Agency Partner who enjoys helping people make smart, informed decisions about their coverage. Based in Ellsworth, Maine, this role is a chance to be part of a local agency that values personal connection, clear communication, and dependable service. You’ll be working with individuals and families who want straightforward guidance and a partner they can trust.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new and existing clients and help them feel confident in their insurance choices
- Learn each client’s situation and recommend coverage that fits their needs and goals
- Guide customers through policy options, quotes, renewals, and account updates
- Follow up on leads and opportunities with care and consistency
- Identify gaps in coverage and offer thoughtful solutions that add value
- Maintain accurate records and keep client information organized and up to date
- Support a smooth, positive experience from the first conversation through long-term account service
- Work closely with the agency to grow trusted relationships within the Ellsworth community
Requirements
- Property & Casualty insurance license, or the ability to obtain one if required
- Prior experience in insurance sales, account management, or a related client-facing role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfort working with clients in person and over the phone
- Ability to explain coverage options clearly and confidently
- Organized approach to tracking leads, policies, and follow-up tasks
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic office software
