Insurance Agency Partner
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and prospects to understand their needs and recommend insurance solutions that make sense for their situation.
- Develop new business through referrals, outreach, and consistent relationship-building in the local community.
- Review existing policies and identify opportunities to improve coverage, retention, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare quotes, explain coverage details, and help clients make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy updates, and sales activity.
- Support renewals and account service with care, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Stay current on product knowledge, carrier guidelines, and changes in the insurance market.
- Represent The Atlantic District with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to helping people protect what matters most.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, account management, or customer-facing sales.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with a clear and professional approach.
- Ability to build trust quickly and guide clients through coverage options with confidence.
- Comfort working independently while staying connected to agency goals and standards.
- Organized follow-through for quotes, renewals, policy changes, and client follow-up.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, quoting tools, and everyday business software.
- Preference for candidates with local market knowledge or experience serving Maine clients.
