About the role

As an Insulation Helper, you will be paired with an Insulation Mechanic to learn all the skills required for a Commercial and Industrial Insulation Installer.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation on HVAC ducts, pipes, and equipment
• Install insulation on Plumbing systems and Industrial piping
• Learn to install various insulation materials including Duct Wrap, Duct Board, Fiberglass Pipe Covering, Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting, Foam glass Insulation, Phenolic Insulation, Urethane Insulation, PVC or Aluminum jacketing
• Work well with others

Requirements

• Experience installing some of the following materials: Duct Wrap, Duct Board, Fiberglass Pipe Covering, Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting, Foam glass Insulation, Phenolic Insulation, Urethane Insulation, PVC or Aluminum jacketing
• Experience in related fields is preferred but training will be provided
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Pass random drug testing
• Must have your own tools (tool belt, tape measure, hand tools, knife, end cutters, aviation snips, dividers and scissors)
