About the role
You will be partnered up with an Insulation Mechanic to learn all the skills of a Commercial and Industrial Insulation installer.
Responsibilities
- Install Insulation on HVAC ducts, pipes, and equipment as well as Plumbing systems and Industrial piping.
- Learn to install Duct Wrap, Duct Board, Fiberglass Pipe Covering, Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting, Foam glass Insulation, Phenolic Insulation, Urethane Insulation, PVC or Aluminum jacketing.
- Work well with others.
Requirements
- Experience installing some of the following materials: Duct Wrap, Duct Board, Fiberglass Pipe Covering, Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting, Foam glass Insulation, Phenolic Insulation, Urethane Insulation, PVC or Aluminum jacketing.
- Experience in related field a plus, but will train.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass random drug testing.
- Must have your own tools (tool belt, tape measure, hand tools, knife, end cutters, aviation snips, dividers and scissors).
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have:
