We are seeking talented Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineers to join our Nuclear Design Group. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of commercial nuclear power facilities.
  • Conduct electrical assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, update plant drawings and documentation, and review vendor submittals.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance plant reliability and safety.
  • Develop engineering deliverables, including precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
  • Create engineering documents that meet or surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs.
  • Provide field support, including on-site engagement with client personnel, plant walkdowns, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of I&C plant components and controls systems, including PLCs and DCS.
  • Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or through an engineering/design consulting firm.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and effectively in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Due to Federal Contract Requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay

Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $185,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
