Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of commercial nuclear power facilities.
  • Conduct electrical assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, update plant drawings and documentation, review vendor submittals, and implement innovative solutions to enhance plant reliability and safety.
  • Develop Engineering Deliverables: Produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
  • Set the Standard: Develop engineering documents that meet or surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements, adhering to processes that guarantee excellence.
  • Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
  • Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
  • Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery of superior engineering results.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs.
  • Provide Field Support: Engage directly with client personnel, perform plant walkdowns, and ensure all structures, systems, and components meet engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems, including PLCs and DCS.
  • Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Due to Federal Contract Requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Pay

Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $185,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
