Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects that design and optimize control systems for various processes
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world-class solutions for new facilities
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and perform panel design
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards

Requirements

• At least 8 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems
• Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems
• Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Latham, NY

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Forward-thinking attitude and eagerness to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for buildings and construction
