Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects that design and optimize control systems for various processes
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world-class solutions for new facilities
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and perform panel design
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
Requirements
- At least 8 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems
- Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems
- Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Latham, NY
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Forward-thinking attitude and eagerness to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for buildings and construction
