What you'll do
- Contribute to projects that power core operations of clients, including cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing and advanced research facilities.
- Design and optimize control systems for various processes, collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers.
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and perform panel design.
- Document and model design information, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
What you bring
- At least 8 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems.
- Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Latham, NY.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Forward-thinking attitude and eagerness to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
- Quick learning ability and a drive to broaden your knowledge base.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
