What you'll do

• Contribute to projects that power core operations of clients, including cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing and advanced research facilities.
• Design and optimize control systems for various processes, collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and perform panel design.
• Document and model design information, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

What you bring

• At least 8 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems.
• Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Latham, NY.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Forward-thinking attitude and eagerness to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
• Quick learning ability and a drive to broaden your knowledge base.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for buildings and construction.
