About the role
The Instrument Scientist / Associate Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing bioanalytical methods for drug product formulations. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure method performance meets regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for drug product formulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize methods for various drug products
- Perform method validation including accuracy, precision, linearity, robustness, and specificity
- Support method transfer to other laboratories as needed
- Contribute to the development of new bioanalytical techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bioanalytical methods development
- Experience with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)
- Knowledge of FDA guidelines and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- Experience with multiple bioanalytical techniques
- Expertise in method development and validation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in LC-MS and related bioanalytical techniques

Pay
- $60,000 - $75,000 annually
