About the role
Work requires the application of technical knowledge of surveying methods, equipment, and techniques in the measurement/determination of distances, elevations, areas, angles, land boundaries, and other features of the earth's surface. This person performs tasks such as using equipment and understanding measurement methods to be used, and keeping field notes for each job.
Requirements
- High school graduate with major coursework in mathematics (algebra and trigonometry)
- One (1) to three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a variety of engineering and land survey work (a plus)
- Possess a valid Maryland driver’s license
