PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop instrument indexes, datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and installation details
- Size and specify field instruments, control valves, and safety instrumented systems
- Support DCS/PLC/SIS design, configuration reviews, and FAT/SAT activities
- Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL classification/verification studies
- Review vendor documents and coordinate with electrical and process disciplines (Senior level)
- Lead I&C scope on projects, mentor junior engineers, and manage vendor interfaces
HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
- Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
- Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering (PE a plus)
- 4–8 years (mid-level) or 8+ years (senior) of I&C experience in industrial facilities
- Knowledge of ISA standards, IEC 61511, and hazardous area requirements
- Experience with DCS/PLC platforms (DeltaV, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, or similar)
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, control narratives, and instrument selection
