Description
Teach What You Love! Be a part-time Instructor for the Northern Recreation & Leisure Services Division of Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. Classes will be located in community centers, public schools, and other Prince George's County locations. Some of the instructional areas available include, but are not limited to:
- Crafting (Sewing, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, etc.)
- Dance (African, Ballet, Line, Hand, etc.)
- Enrichment (Language, Tutoring, Computer, STEM)
- Fitness (Cross Training, Sports Specific, Boot Camp, Spinning, Personal Trainers, etc.)
- Martial Arts (Aikido, Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc.)
- Mind and Body (Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation, etc.)
- Music (Instrumental and Voice)
- Sports (Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis, Tumbling, etc.)

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver an engaging and informative course curriculum.
Provide exceptional customer service to class patrons.
Keep attendance records.
Communicate closely with staff and class patrons.
Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age or older.
Possess a combination of education, experience, and certifications relevant to the instructional field.
Qualifications
Preferred Administrative experience managing and/or supervising a related program is desirable.
Skills
Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to deliver informative and engaging instruction.
Possess high-level knowledge in the instructional field.
