Instructor (Temporary)
About This Role
Kansas State University and the College of Architecture, Planning & Design/Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning wishes to hire a temporary part-time instructor in our on-campus regional & community planning program. Candidate will be able to teach courses with expertise related to graphic composition and representation for planning and will have prior teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of course content
- Scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate
- Grading
- Provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule, and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Head

This position is Remote eligible. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree or doctorate in Urban Planning, Community Development, or a closely allied field. The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience
