Responsibilities
- Create syllabus.
- Teach in a learner-centered classroom with a strong commitment to the community college mission.
- Assess student learning outcomes.
- Utilize current learning management system technology (Brightspace) in the performance of job duties.
- Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Participate in and support departmental initiatives.
- Fulfill other duties as outlined in the Faculty contract.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
- Work experience in an area appropriate to the teaching field is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Teaching Precision Manufacturing, CNC Programming (G-code) with imports from various CAD Software.
- Experience with Haas tooling.
- Teaching Tool Carousel Programming including Print-to-Part.
- Experience with core mechanical course curriculum with labs and class room material preparation.
- CNC Programming Experience: Require proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), as well as knowledge of materials, machine operations, and production processes.
Salary
The annual minimum salary for Instructor is $53,445. The salary will increase to $55,022 on September 1, 2026. Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
