Instructor's Assistant
Position Summary
An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This part-time position works various days, Monday through Friday, normally with a schedule of 8:45 to 2:30. Hours can average up to 19 per week.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date
- Current driver’s license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle
- One-year experience working with individuals in human services field (preferred)
- Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE) (preferred)
- Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) (preferred)
- Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
