About the role
Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking faith-filled, energetic, and highly adaptable Instructional Assistants to join our growing school community. These full-time positions support students and teachers in Kindergarten through 8th Grade while helping foster a joyful, academically rigorous, and Christ-centered learning environment.
Primary Instructional Assistant
- Include Promote Catholic values.
- Support classroom teachers with curriculum and Catholic values.
- Work with individual students and small groups, adapting strategies when needed.
- Establish and maintain clear classroom management behavior and student conduct.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and communicate student progress.
- Prepare materials, resources, and activities.
- Assess student progress monitoring.
- Organize projects, events, field trips, and learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with members of the school community.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Intermediate Instructional Assistant

Middle School Instructional Assistant

Qualifications
- Experience working in a Catholic school or faith-based educational environment is highly desirable.
- Commitment to supporting the mission, values, and traditions of Catholic education.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification preferred.
- Previous teaching, substitute teaching, instructional aide, childcare, or educational support experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Able to confidently assume responsibility for a classroom when needed.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to adapt to changing schedules and school needs.
