Instructional Assistant
Education and Experience
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities
Selection & Examinations
- A written exam meeting the “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) requirements (weighted 40%)
- An oral interview exam (weighted 60%)
- A passing score must be achieved on all exams to be placed on the eligibility list
