Instructional Assistant

Education and Experience

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities

Selection & Examinations

• A written exam meeting the “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) requirements (weighted 40%)
• An oral interview exam (weighted 60%)
• A passing score must be achieved on all exams to be placed on the eligibility list
