Instructor Pool - SUSTAINABLITY & ENVIROMENTAL STUDIES
Position Profile
The College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CASSH) at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse is seeking to establish an instructor pool for potential teaching assignments. Positions are contingent upon departmental needs and availability.
Job Duties
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing for and holding classes
- Evaluating student work
- Assessing student outcomes
- Maintaining currency in the content area
- Maintaining appropriate records
- Holding office hours
- Providing regular and substantive feedback on student work
- Advising students
- Providing other service to the department
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree
- In rare circumstances, post-baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a combination of a baccalaureate and experience
- Specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required depending on the program
