Instructor of Spanish

Position Summary

The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching elementary and intermediate levels of Spanish. In addition to teaching assigned classes, duties will include conducting examinations, grading student work, keeping accurate records of student performance and class attendance, attending departmental and campus-wide meetings, and participating in campus activities and committees.

Responsibilities

• Teaching four undergraduate courses per semester
• Serving the College through committee participation
• Supporting departmental efforts for continued improvement of programs

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Spanish is preferred.
• A Master's degree in Spanish will be considered.
• Teaching experience at the high school, community college, or college level is expected.
